weekend of cable knit

the weekend started off on a high, with friday being causal day at work i couldnt wait to rug up in my tutrle neck cable knit and some gold class kicks, i paired these with my acid-ish wash jeans with a bit of rip

the night took me into my warm pj's from cotton on body so comfy and slouchy, paired with the best ever hoodie i own from VS a perfect night in watching the footy

saturday i headed off to the sass sale, so i was ready in my comfy items, grey skinny trackies, and cable knit again and a ballet flat...this is so i could slip in and out of the chnage rooms quick and easily, i tired to style it up but i was prepared for comfort and speed!

these were so comfy i stayed in them all day and night, cuddled up close for movie mode - perfect, no muss no fuss

sunday the sun was streaming through the house, so i opened up all the doors moved the outdoor couch in the perfect spot and lounged in loungewear - my harem pants and grey midi top, with havianas on the side of course, it was a beautiful day for some afternoon wine

Sunday night.....ought to do something for the weekend...out to dinner at Hotel Brighton for a yummy pub meal, the temp had dropped so quickly i needed to change and rug up for the wander up the road and slipped on my trusty cable knit, which had more than a repeat offense this weekend! added my leather look leggings and just slid on my accessories, black ballet flats and a burnt orange beret, i couldnt believe how cold it was last night eeeeeek!!!! love my over-extensive head wear collection always needed!

moral of the weekend.....invest in a classic cable knit turtle neck this winter! ive also got one in cream :) i love them both and they wash really well so invest !

So what I wore yesterday was so attractive, check it out on www.style2thestylish.blogspot.com.au ha-ha I went to the Anzac day remembrance service so I was all about warmth and being not wet, I didn’t care what I looked like ha-ha!

Today back at work with just a simple and easy outfit, but looks right on trend!

I’m wearing the zipper cropped pants, bright think almost neon button down sheer shirt, leopard jacket & black ballet flat. Add in accessory the simple peace sign ring I wear every day :)

I have been so slack this week trying to tech up and pimp out all my blogs I have not be onto it with my own out fits so here is a quick wrap up of the weekend till now! I know so much to take in! I hope it’s worth the wait.

Saturday – breakfast and gossip

Saturday morning I was up very early to meet my bff…we have to spend as much time together as possible before I go away…a quick breakfast lead to one that went for about 3 hours! We talk way too much! Hah

Dinner for a friend’s birthday at the Pier in port Melbourne, the food was scrummy! And then out for twins bday at the Royal Saxon in Richmond, it was way too hard to play catch up so I kept it quiet. I wore my geo-pattern mini skirt for Forever 21 in USA just loved that store, a plain black tank and the blue shoes again from earlier in the day I was loving them on Saturday! Pairded with a vintage (my mum’s) shoulder padded jacket with gold accents, the buttons on this are to die! And With an old fav a silver & gold metallic clutch!

Sunday, quiet day with some friend over for a seafood feats, just nice and simple with a summer off the shoulder white boho dress from French connection, the weather was so beautiful the dress was breezy and light with classic havians to stay casual.

Monday at work… my work staple, silk harem pants with zips at the ankle to skinny the pant or loosen, leopard cami, black wedges and my hair in a donut. This outfit equals no effort just quick style. I slept in! whoops!

Tuesday working…I recently found in my wardrobe a pair of black pant I forgot I had! I love them and have been wearing them nonstop, they are now my 2^nd work staple pant, and they are crop with a zip feature down either side of the pant and are a perfect cut! They are from Portmans and I really love them, best thing about them is they were in my wardrobe, no need to purchase a crop pant yay! So I wore these with a puffy grey Nevenka top and black ballet flats

In the evenings I’ve been hitting the gym and I love my trainers, black Asics with pink accents and I always love showing just a touch of style with my neon exercise bras, who said gym fashion was doudy. I love working out with the touch of neon flashing through my training singlet! Tres chic

Wednesday – mid week hump….ahhhh the weekday I dislike the most! But anyways it is over now so I must be happy! I really was again a sleepy head and slept in so I chucked on my fav jumpsuit, its black it’s got a cute frill and goes with flats and heels. I wore it with both of these as I had a meeting I put the heels on! Chucked on my man style leopard print jacket for a bit of cover. my hair was a bit OTT I couldn’t even put it in a donut! Time to wash it immediately! Eeeek!

Thursday

Early morning and feeling fresh must be all those sleep in I’ve been accidently having, wearing my black zip pants, an orange sheer shirt with navy collar and cuff – I love this is bright and interesting and its from Cotton On about $25! Such a bargain! And my go to staple black strappy wedges.

i wear

just was a little rushed this morning whoops...rushed or lazy you could call it
i just chucked on a pair of my trusty leather look leggings, with a mullet strapless dress.... its kind of evening but really simple and its a classic basic of mine now. i really like it as its not too mullet-esk and it can be worn with so many other items and to so many events. very versatile, i think all ladies should invest...and when i say invest these dresses are everywhere so you can pay like $40 for a cute one!
just a simple ankle boot to give the look a Goth edge.... some darker eye liner and bun up quickly, i didn’t even have time to use my trusty donut!
i also just thought I’d chuck on this cool necklace --- its really a beautiful orange colour
